Most people have goals, a purpose and expectations for the dog they choose to move into their home; these may not be written anywhere but
you have a good idea of how you want/need the dog to fit in and treat you. Sadly, you know but unless you teach him, the dog has no idea of what you actually expect him to do.
If you take him to a class, the instructor most often teaches you & your dog to do those things that are pleasing to the instructor. That’s fine IF you live and enjoy similar lifestyles. However if the instructor is active in competitions, is athletic, enjoys rough, physical activities but you are not; how could your results with training your dog possibly satisfy your needs and the goals you have for your dog?
Then, even if that one class is successful, the dog’s education is limited to that one subject, the specific maneuvers, commands and guidelines that go with it. That means that additional subjects will also come with another collection of specific maneuvers, commands and guidelines. This results in YOU having no easy transition between each specific discipline and performance event.
When training with the Q-Walker, educating your dog to do multiple tasks & competitive performances, becomes much simpler. Using the Q-Walker, you will begin by teaching your dog a number of solid commands; these will be your foundation from which all other training is built on.
